FAQ's

How does the SignalRed card work?

A microchip in the SignalRed card detects RFID/NFC scans, and immediately scrambles the signals so that the scan is unable to be processed. No batteries are required; power is drawn from the unauthorized scanner itself, and used towards your protection.

When does the LED light show?

The LED light is not visible when the card is inactive. Whenever the card is at work, detecting an RFID scan, a red light will appear on the right side of the SignalRed logo.

Where do I place my SignalRed cards?

Your SignalRed Card fits easily in your purse, wallet or cellphone case, for stress-free daily usage and travel. Place your SignalRed cards in the outermost sections of your wallet to protect against intrusion.

How many SignalRed cards do I need?

If you are using a men’s wallet, one card would be sufficient to protect the cards in your wallet. For a women’s wallet, which is usually larger, we recommend using two cards, at the two outermost sides.

When do I need to replace my SignalRed card?

Your SignalRed card will last for approximately three years. Replacement is recommended after that time period.

Is my SignalRed card guaranteed?

Here at SignalRed our mission is to give you full peace of mind. If, for any reason, you do not find our card suitable to your needs, we will issue a full refund upon return of merchandise within the first 6 months of purchase – no questions asked!

Can I test my SignalRed card?

Yes. See the “DIY Test” tab on this website for easy instructions.
